Nude is nude. It’s the context in which we view nudity that changes it from what it is; the human body. Recreated by ourselves, in many different cultures, in many different contexts, nudity has become humanity’s greatest cover up.

Nude is a show about being nude. Or, more accurately, about not being allowed to be nude. Restricted by the very conditions that define nudity, Nude positions the human body within the realm of art, performance, religion and sex, to explore the boundaries between what is natural, artistic, overt, and shocking.

Nude takes audiences through a journey of ideas to ask the central question: what is stopping us from delivering to you performance where the costume is the nude form?
