What would happen to Santa and his Elves if he had to relocate to Australia?
Due to global warming and melting glaciers, Santa’s tops scientists have given him no alternative but to relocate from the North Pole.
After an eternity of freezing his booty off, Santa has decided to hang up the bennie, park the boots and trade them in for a cork-string hat and a pair of thongs.
Watch as Santa battles the heat along with Frank Frump and his band of Elf acrobats and daring aerialists, a crane truck and blasts of fire and ice.
Santa is forced to move from the North Pole due to melting ice caps, being told of a wonderful land called Melbourne. His elves help relocate by hiring a magical vintage truck (his reindeers refuse to fly) but trouble soon arises in the wake of the Australian summer. One of the elves, the grumpy but loveable Frank Frump, catches wind of federal workplace safety and minimum working conditions, coaxing the other elves into joining his plight.
In an Australiana-twist to a traditional telling of Christmas, with picket lines and workplace safety gear to boot, Santa demands a dance-off to battle Frank Frump and save his break while Down Under.
The show is scored by a bevy of Australian tunes and newer Pop classics to keep the kids, mum, dad and the grandparents happy. Our delightful narrator involves all in the telling of the story, with a script design for quick whit parents. It’s the perfect addition to our summer Christmas, following a successful launch season held at Coburg Velodrome.
